Two-car crash on Lakeview Drive in Waterloo

Waterloo police and fire departments, along with Monroe County EMS, were dispatched Tuesday at about 5:50 p.m., to a two-vehicle crash with road blockage on Lakeview Drive at Paul Drive in Waterloo.

Police said a Dodge Intrepid driven by Mary Bueschel, 89, of Waterloo, pulled out in front of a Dodge Dakota driven by Brandon Fausz, 31, of Waterloo, which was traveling south on Lakeview.

Bueschel was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. She was cited for failure to yield at a stop.
