LuAnn Dorothy Brueggemann (nee Gleiber) died peacefully Sept. 8, 2015, at Havenwood Health Services in Concord, N.H.

She was born June 21, 1936, in Waterloo, daughter of the late Roland and Gertrude Gleiber.

Upon completion of nurses training at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, she practiced nursing in a variety of positions, culminating as school nurse in the Concord, N.H., school system.

She will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Edward Brueggemann, along with their children, Don Brueggemann and his wife, Marjorie Waters, Barb Brueggemann and her partner, Marjorie Cohen, Deb Guarino and her husband, Michael Guarino; and grandchildren, Caitlin Guarino Coleman and her husband, Kyle, Quinn Sanborn Brueggemann and her fiancée, Tim Rose, Tyler Guarino and Erin Waters.

A memorial service was held Sept. 12, at 5 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Concord.

The burial and a memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Waterloo, at a time to be determined.
