Columbia Police
July 22
Rebecca S. Wright, 26, of Millstadt, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant and also for no insurance, no valid registration and no valid license on Admiral Parkway southbound at Westpark Drive.
Shanna M. Cooksey, 33, of St. Louis, was arrested on  a Monroe County warrant on I-255.
July 24
Robert E. Whaley, 43, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI on Route 3 southbound at Route 158.
Columbia police, fire and ambulance personnel responded about 10:10 a.m. to a three-vehicle crash on Route 3 at Sand Bank Road near the Department of Public Works office. Ambulance personnel checked on at least one of those involved in the crash but no one required medical transport from the scene. The vehicles involved were a Toyota Camry, Ford Escape and Cadillac CTS.

 Monroe County Sheriff
July 15
Alicia Burch, 25, of Dupo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant in Columbia.
July 20
Kacey Holbrook, 28, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant in Columbia.
The reported theft of an air conditioning unit from a home recently purchased on Brickey Road is under investigation.
July 22
Hecker Fire Department and Monroe County EMS personnel responded about 1:30 p.m. to a report of a person trapped under a tractor in the area of 7000 Illinois Route 156 west of Hecker. Police said the operator of the large tractor, George Gregson Sr., 77, was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of a broken arm. Gregson’s tractor apparently overturned on a hill, pinning him beneath it.
A report of criminal damage to property on South Market Street is under investigation after windows were smashed out of a home.
A possible report of debit card fraud reported by a resident on Centerville Road is under investigation.

Waterloo Police
July 20
Police are still investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Route 3 at Marketplace Drive near the Waterloo Schnucks. The motorcyclist, identified as John J. Jungers, 59, of Millstadt, was traveling northbound on Route 3 and went off the roadway, turning over twice before being ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported by ambulance to a St. Louis hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
July 23
Brittany Hamilton, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for retail theft at the Waterloo Walmart after allegedly taking a bottle of Captain Morgan from the store.
