This week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Larry Schmas of the Waterloo Millers baseball team in the Mon-Clair-League. Schmas went 6-for-8 in a Sunday doubleheader split with the St. Louis Spikes at SPPS Field, including two home runs and two doubles.

Schmas has upped his average to .481 with the Millers so far this summer.
