Larissa Couto Rogoski of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and Jared Nathan Lee Kemling of Waterloo were married March 3, 2015, in Carbondale.

The bride is the daughter of Rita Rosana Rios Couto, Paulo Roberto Bueno Rogoski and stepfather Gabriel Sanhudo Silva dos Santos. She is a 2007 graduate of EEEM Roque González and a 2013 graduate of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. She is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Philosophy studies at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and will begin work on her doctorate in philosophy this fall.

The groom is the son of Nathan and Lori Kemling. He is a 2006 graduate of Waterloo High School, a 2010 graduate of Bradley University, and a 2014 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Master of Arts in Philosophy. He is currently a doctoral student in philosophy at SIUC.

A wedding celebration was held in their honor on June 13, 2015.
