This week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Mon-Clair Mudcats 13U youth baseball team consisting of boys from the Waterloo and Millstadt area.

The Mudcats are currently 18-3-2 on the season and have won all tournaments in which they have competed. The team won a World Series qualifier at Lenz Field in Jacksonville over the weekend, going 5-0 and only allowing 10 runs. Coaches are Dave Kossina, Jason Blanchard, Bryan Weaver and Todd Papenberg.

Players from Waterloo are Dalton Blanchard, Jackson McAlister, Tim Reinholz, Nathan Albrecht and Josh Papenberg; Millstadt players are Joey Kossina, Cam Toenjes, Nick Weilbacher, Joey Nester and Logan Weaver.
