Valmeyer Fire Department personnel responded along with Monroe County EMS and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to a rollover crash with injuries in the area of 8970 Bluff Road south of Fountain Road.

There were three occupants of the dark-colored Nissan Maxima, two of which were injured.

Passengers Tabitha Ford and Russell Hastings were transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, police said. The driver, Jonathan Hartwig of Valmeyer, refused medical transport.

Initial reports from the scene indicate the northbound car lost control and veered off the roadway, rolling multiple times before coming to rest in a field.
