The Waterloo High School softball team is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week.

The Bulldogs ended an amazing 35-2 season with a loss Saturday to Highland in the Class 3A Mascoutah Sectional championship game. This year’s team set a new school single season record for softball victories and won conference and regional titles.
