This week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is senior Waterloo High School baseball player Ryan Aycock.

He ranked among the team leaders in average (.413), runs (30), RBIs (25), stolen bases (16) and sacrifices (10) this spring for the Bulldogs, who ended their season at 24-13 with a loss last Wednesday night in the sectional semifinal.
