The Broncos of the Affton Athletic Association High School League, coached by Ken Johnson of Waterloo with five team members from Waterloo along with others from Oakville, Mo., recently won its second straight league championship.

They went undefeated this season with a record of 12-0. Coach Johnson attributes the title to clutch hitting, solid defense, pitching depth, home runs and most importantly, good chemistry and boys having fun playing together and for each other.  Their team dominated the league with 176 runs scored to just 33 runs allowed.

Team members from Waterloo include Brett Johnson, Nick Iorio, Zach George, Ben Bandy and Troy Aldridge.
