DeLaina Cary of Troy, Tenn., and Caleb Joost of Waterloo were married June 28, 2014, at Chapel Gardens of Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tenn., with Minister Ronnie Scherrifus of Newbern Tenn., officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Vonda Cary of Troy Tenn.; and the granddaughter of Dan and Betty Montgomery of Hornbeak, Tenn., and the late Calvin Cary Sr. and Ella Cary of Troy, Tenn.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard and Julie Joost of Waterloo; and the grandson of Henry and Wilma Presswood of Sparta and the late Elmer and Ruth Joost of Steeleville.
The maid of honor was Belinda Parker of Troy, Tenn., best friend of the bride; Tiffany Boggis of Martin, Tenn., college friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth O’Neal of Athens, Ala., college friend; and Kayla VanZant of Murfreesboro Tenn., childhood friend, Courtney Connell, cousin of the bride, of Martin, Tenn., was junior bridesmaid.
The best man was Zach, Cloar, best friend of the groom, of Union City Tenn. Groomsmen were Kenneth “Wags” Wagner of Okawville, college friend of the groom; Andrew Walker of Mascoutah, cousin of the groom; and Christian Cary of Troy Tenn., brother of the bride.
Rachel Joost, sister of the groom, was the soloist. She sang “The Prayer” and “At Last” before the processional.
A reception, featuring a dinner and dance, was held in Dinosaur Hall at Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tenn.
The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica. They reside in Arnold, Mo.
