Saturday Night Fever: WHS, CHS crown prom royalty

Saturday was prom night for both Waterloo and Columbia high schools, with WHS prom at Orlando Gardens in St. Louis County and CHS prom at The Falls in Columbia.

Malorie Rice and Greysan Moehrs were crowned queen and king of the WHS prom. Other prom court members were Aimee Dillenberger, Gabe Reeser, Jordyn Groves, Alex Bakken, Brittany Morris, Max Jennings, Mallory Meyer, Lucas Goessling, Alexis Wheeler and Blake Myers. Alec Helm and Hannah Finnerty were retiring king and queen. The theme of the WHS prom was “Neon Nights.”

Taylor Snider and Kaleb Williams were crowned queen and king of the CHS prom. Other prom court members were Ryan Gudeman, John Harrell, Corey Hornbostel, Hope Drennan, Grace Fisher and Allison Murphy. Retiring king and queen were Cory Myers and Hollie Tuttle. The theme of the CHS prom was “The Great Gatsby.”
