Gibault Catholic High School girls soccer standout Abby Hasenstab is this week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week.

Hasenstab, a junior, scored seven goals in two recent games for the Hawks (both wins), including six goals in a 7-1 victory over Wesclin on Monday.

The Hawks lost Tuesday at O’Fallon, 4-0. Hasenstab currently leads Gibault (5-6) in scoring this spring with 10 goals and five assists.
