Ries – Garcia | Wedding

Barbara Jean Ries and Bryan Donald Garcia of Waterloo announce their marriage.

They were married Dec. 13, 2014 by Pastor Andy Sharpe at Graham Chapel at Washington University in Clayton, Mo.

The bride is the daughter of Imogene Ries and the late Harold Ries. She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and is employed as an administrative assistant at BSI Constructors in St. Louis.

The groom is the son of Luis Garcia and the late Eleanor Garcia. He is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Washington University. He is employed as an entrepreneur in residence for ITEN in St. Louis.

The matron of honor was Brenda Lanman and Bonnie Ries was the maid of honor. They are sisters of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Beverly Layton (sister of the bride) and Amanda Huber (niece of the bride).

The bride’s brother, Bret Ries, walked her down the isle.

The best men were Bill Griffin and Malcom Davis, friends of the groom.

Groomsmen were Ron Francois and Martin Bertolino, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Dave Fowler (friend of the groom) and Bill Lanman (brother-in-law of the bride).

The guest book was attended to by Jamie Lanman and Becki Ries, nieces of bride.

A reception followed the wedding at Maggiano’s Little Italy in St. Louis.
