Columbia Police

Feb. 17
A two-vehicle crash resulted in injury shortly after 9:15 a.m. on Admiral Parkway at Admiral Weinel Boulevard. A 2006 Ford Taurus driven by Cheyenne Cofer, 19, of Fenton, Mo., collided with a vehicle driven by Kansas Beare, 32, of Steelville. Cofer was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis for treatment of minor injuries. She was cited for failure to yield.

Feb. 18
Eugenia L. (Johnson) Komoromi, 49, of Waterloo, was arrested on an in-state warrant on Admiral Parkway northbound at Veterans Parkway.

Feb. 20
Okema D. McKenney, 30, was arrested on three in-state warrants at 253 Bradington Drive.

Feb. 22
A burglary to a detached shed in the 100 block of Lepp Street is under investigation. The crime is believed to have occurred over the past few weeks. A number of tools and lawn care items were stolen.

Monroe County Sheriff

Feb. 10
A two-vehicle crash involving a Pontiac Vibe and a Dodge Caravan took place shortly after 5:20 p.m. on Route 3 at KK Road south of Waterloo. The driver of the Vibe, Heather R. Heintz, 42, of Waterloo, was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. The driver of the Caravan was Jessica L. Ward, 35, of Red Bud.

Feb. 18
Deputies responded to a handful of crashes last week due to icy road conditions, with no injuries reported.

Feb. 20
Samuel Hood of Waterloo was arrested on an in-state warrant.

Alan Macke of Red Bud was arrested on an in-state warrant.

The theft of a nail gun belonging to a resident of Maeystown Road is under investigation. The item was pawned off at a shop in Cahokia and is valued at slightly more than $100.

Waterloo Police

Feb. 18
Steven Few, 48, of Waterloo, was arrested for aggravated assault (resisting arrest) and issued a city ordinance violation for public intoxication at 114 W. Mill Street.

Feb. 19
Jennifer McClure, 31, of Millstadt, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of St. Clair County.

Austin Timpe, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of cannabis and unlawful consumption of alcohol at 622 N. Market Street.

Feb. 20
William Crosson, 18, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 622 N. Market Street.

Douglas Crouch, 53, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and no insurance on Route 3 at Columbia Avenue.

Feb. 21
Derek Dillon, 28, of Columbia, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Effingham County.

Feb. 23
A theft at Walmart is under investigation.
