Ermin J. Brinkmann | Obituary
Ermin J. Brinkmann, 89, of Waterloo, died March 4, 2015 in Waterloo.
He was born July 19, 1925, son of the late Henry A. and Frieda Brinkmann, nee Welzbacher.
Ermin was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo, Knights of Columbus Council #1334, IBEW Local #309, Monroe County Farm Bureau, retired from Monroe County Electric Cooperative, and was the past co-owner of Brinkmann Brothers Farm Equipment.
He is survived by his wife, Valeda Brinkmann, nee Birkner; children Sharon (Larry) Barbeau, Ronald (Susan) Brinkmann, Raymond (Cindy) Brinkmann, Sandy (Allan) Lenhardt and Richard Brinkmann; grandchildren Michelle (Richard) Chausse, Kimberly (Scott) Doiron, Dawn (Mark) Grohmann, Andrea Brinkmann (fiancé Shane Kennedy), Kyle (Caitlin) Brinkmann, Tim (Liz Rupprecht) Brinkmann, Chris (Stephen) Kilgore, Julie (Jeremy) Marquardt, Todd Lenhardt, Eric (Rebekka) Brinkmann, Bryanna Brinkmann (fiancé Andrew Storey); brother Paul (Carol) Brinkmann; stepchildren Bonnie (Terry) Uebinger, Ray (Maren) Klein, Marilyn Barttelbart and Jayne (Rick) Arensmann; along with 11 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Bernice A. Brinkmann, nee Kaestner; two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Mary Chausse; step son-in-law Bill Barttelbart; sisters Martha Poetker and Sylvira Zimmerman; and brothers Leroy, Jacob and Robert Brinkmann.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. March 8 and 8 to 9:30 a.m. March 9 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.
A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. March 9 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo.
Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
Memorials may be made to the Ss. Peter & Paul Building Improvement Fund.
