Fountain Water District: boil order lifted

The Fountain Water District said Saturday afternoon that a boil order has been lifted for homes affected by a water main break in its system Thursday morning on KK Road near Wartburg.

The water district, which serves rural Monroe County homes, said an estimated 500 homes were affected from the Wartburg area east to Route 3 and west to Maeystown Road and south to Renault.
