Two vehicle crashes early Tuesday evening

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe County EMS assisted Illinois State Police with a two-car crash with possible injuries at Route 3 and KK Road in Waterloo early Tuesday evening.

The vehicles involved were a red Pontiac Vibe SUV and a black Dodge Caravan. One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The call came in at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

At around the same time, the Waterloo Fire Department was called to assist St. Clair County emergency personnel with a rollover crash in the 4400 area of Bohleysville Road involving a male driver in a Subaru. The vehicle rolled and went into a field, but the driver sustained no serious injuries.
