Ada M. Schmidt Miller, nee Felumb, 96, of Columbia, formerly of Cahokia, died Jan. 11, 2015 in St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Miller was born July 20, 1918, in St. Louis, Mo.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo.  She worked for K-Mart for over 20 years and was a past member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl M. Schmidt and Ivan H. Miller; two brothers, Alfred and K. Jim (Natalie) Felumb; and a sister, Dora (Lewis) Flowers.

Surviving are her daughters, Betty L. Converse (Larry) McDowell and Shirley J. Schmidt (Larry) Hoy; nieces, Margaret Felumb Loots, Lynne Felumb, Christine Felumb Runge, and Diane Flowers Schleason; nephews, Gary and James Flowers; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Garrett, Sean, Margaret, Audrey, Ainsley, and Kennedi McDowell. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

 Visitation took place Jan. 13 and at Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia and Jan. 14 at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo.

Interment followed at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
