The Republic-Times co-Teams of the Week are the Columbia and Waterloo high school cheerleading squads, which earned first place trophies in their respective divisions at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association Championships on Saturday in Springfield. The CHS varsity cheerleaders coached by Robbie Walters placed first in the medium varsity category. The WHS varsity cheerleaders coached by Amber Hensiek placed first in the coed varsity category.
