Ricky J. Tenholder | Obituary
Ricky J. Tenholder, 50, of Waterloo, died Dec. 7, 2014 in Waterloo.
He was born Feb. 22, 1964 in Cahokia, son of Corinne and the late Joseph H. Tenholder.
Mr. Tenholder retired from the United States Postal Service out of the East St. Louis branch, where he worked as a letter carrier.
He was a member of White Flag Christian Church in St. Louis, Mo.; graduated from Cahokia High School in 1982; and played baseball for Belleville Area College.
Surviving are his loving wife, Kerianne M. Tenholder, nee Kloeppel; his children, Whitney (Jacob) Hilton of Kirkwood, Mo., Courtney Tenholder of St. Louis, Mo., Nolan Tenholder of Waterloo, and Lindsey Tenholder of Waterloo; his mother, Corrinne Tenholder of Waterloo; mother-in-law, Lynda Kloeppel of St. Louis, Mo.; brothers, Larry (Sharon) Tenholder of Jasper, Ind., Edward “Eddie” (Teresa) Tenholder of St. Charles, Mo., Daniel “Danny” (Theresa) Tenholder of Clarksville, Tenn., Terrance “Terry” (Pamela) Tenholder of Waterloo, Robert “Bobby” Tenholder of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Randy (Angela) Tenholder of Millstadt. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph H. Tenholder; brother, Joseph “Joey” A. Tenholder; and grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the White Flag Christian Church building fund.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia and from 9 to 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at White Flag Christian Church in St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at the church.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
