This week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia volleyball player Megan Huffman. During the Columbia High School Fall Sports Banquet on Wednesday night, the senior volleyball player was recognized for recently setting the all-time assists record for CHS volleyball. Huffman had 1,493 career assists. She was a four-year varsity starter as a right-side hitter, and set the record as a back row setter over the last three seasons. The previous school assists record was held by Sammi McCloud.
