CHS soccer | Team of the Week

The Columbia High School soccer team is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week. The Eagles finished the season with a 21-3-2 record and won the school’s first state title in soccer by defeating Herscher and Timothy Christian last weekend at the Corn Crib in Normal to claim the IHSA Class 1A championship.

Corey Saathoff

Corey is the editor of the Republic-Times. He has worked at the newspaper since 2004, and currently resides in Columbia. He is also the principal singer-songwriter and plays guitar in St. Louis area country-rock band The Trophy Mules.
