Scott R. Rodemich | Obituary

Scott R. Rodemich, 47, of Columbia, died Sept. 29, 2014 in St. Louis.

He was born March 28, 1967 in Belleville. He was married to Julie Rodemich, nee Counce, who survives him. They were married Jan. 3, 1992 in Columbia.

Scott was the owner and president of Marketicity in Columbia, member of the Monroe County Fair Board, TAB Peer Advisory Board of Business Owners, Monroe County Economic Development Council, Oak Hill Board of Directors, former FFA State Official and past FFA public speaking champion, St. Louis Ag Club, and St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and Kloepper player.

Surviving are his son Ryan Rodemich; daughter Allison Rodemich; parents Marvin E. and Ruth Ann (Stumpf) Rodemich of Columbia; sister Chris (Bill) Browne of Columbia; father and mother-in-law Bruce and Joanne (Schneeberger) Counce of Columbia; sister-in-law Robyn (Kevin) McCarty of Kildeer; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Lawlor Funeral Home in Columbia, and  10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 3 at the church.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
