Joan M. Mueller | Obituary
Joan M. Mueller, nee Krebel, 65, of Columbia, died on Aug. 13, 2014. She was born May 17, 1949, in Red Bud. She was married to James E. Mueller, who survives her. They were married Feb. 14, 1969, in Columbia.
Joan was a financial counselor with First Financial Bank, as well as Mercantile Bank in Columbia. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, American Legion Post #581 Auxiliary in Columbia, and an assistant pre-school teacher for the Columbia Public Library.
Surviving are her children, Christopher (Jacque) Mueller of Belleville, Michael (Tanya) Mueller of Aurora, Colo., and Jennifer (Edward) Naddeo of Barrington; grandchildren Blake, Justin, and Samantha, Luke, Alex, and Alexandria and Mariana (twins); brother Stephen (JoAnn) Krebel of Columbia, brother James (Brenda) Krebel of Columbia; sister Ellen (Mark) Dehn of Columbia; mother Mary Krebel of Columbia; father-in-law Lester M. Mueller of Columbia, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Krebel, and mother-in-law, Jean F. Mueller.
Visitation will take place from 10 to 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia.
A Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at the church.
Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials may be made to the Eugene Schorb – Immaculate Conception School Education Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
