Columbia Police

June 2: Thomas S. Whitehouse, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for unlawful use of weapon and two counts of aggravated assault following an incident that occurred at the Columbia Lakes apartments. It is alleged that Whitehouse pulled a knife on his roommate and threatened to do bodily harm to him and another person. No injuries were reported.

Jonathan R. Anderson, 19, of New Athens, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant at 2613 Columbia Lakes Drive.

June 4: Robert J. Petraitis, 29, of Waterloo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of a hypodermic syringe following a May 29 incident at 286 Southwoods Center.

June 5: Charish R. Howard, 19, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery at 2613 Columbia Lakes Drive.

June 8: Jeremy M. Bresnan, 31, of O’Fallon, Mo., was arrested for DUI, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 300 Columbia Centre.

Marlena O. Sprock of Festus, Mo., was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on I-255. Illinois State Police

June 9: Columbia police, fire and EMS assisted ISP with a vehicle crash on Route 158 at Bradford Estates Court around 9:30 p.m. One vehicle occupant complained of a minor back injury, but no serious injuries were reported.

Monroe County Sheriff

June 4: A battery that occurred in the area of Ames Road is under investigation.

June 5: Michael J. McCarthy, 27, of Granite City, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors (pseudoephedrine) following a May 16 incident.

A burglary at 110 Park Street in Hecker is under investigation. Among the items reported stolen from inside the residence and a detached garage include 400 to 500 pounds of copper, a .50-caliber CVA black powder rifle, a 12-gauge Savage pump shotgun, multiple hunting knives, a laptop computer, jewelry, a weed eater, model miniature antique cars and model miniature Harley-Davidsons.

June 9: Susan Gooch, 51, of Fults, was charged with felony criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to motor vehicle following a March 30 incident.

Waterloo Police

June 3: Steven Willyard, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested for aggravated assault at 101 Debra Lane after he allegedly pointed a knife at Moniquea Morrissett.

June 6: Casey Hurley, 30, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery at 708 Evansville Avenue.
