Rachel Bahre and Loren Chapman

Rachel D. Bahre and Loren T. Chapman, both of Waterloo, were married Oct. 19, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Bahre and the late Sondra Bahre of Sparta. She is a graduate of Sparta High School and Saint Louis University. She is currently employed as a mortgage loan originator at Midland States Bank in Waterloo.

The groom is the son of Ralph and Karla Chapman of Red Bud. He is employed as a powertrain parts sales representative with Weir Chevrolet in Red Bud.

The matron of honor was Jamie Koch of Prairie du Rocher, friend of the couple.

The best man was Scott Sauer of Red Bud, friend of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Laura Loeffler of Barnhart, Mo., Rebecca Ehlers of Waterloo and Dina Chapman of St. Louis.

Groomsmen were Sean Koch of Prairie du Rocher, James Deterding of Red Bud and Keith Schmitz of Fults.

A reception took place at the American Legion Post 581 in Columbia.

They honeymooned in the Pigeon Forge-Gatlinburg, Tenn., areas of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The couple resides in Waterloo.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
