Truck crash in Waterloo

Around 2 p.m. Thursday, Waterloo police and Monroe County EMS handled a crash involving a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe that went off the roadway and landed on its side at 706 South Market Street in Waterloo. The 17-year-old female driver of the truck was not injured. The northbound truck went off the road to the right, briefly went airborne, and narrowly missed two trees and a parked minivan, witnesses said.
