Columbia Police
Jan. 23
Desiree J. Good of Imperial, Mo., was arrested on a Monroe County warrant at 548 S. Main Street.
Jan. 25
Halil Mesanovic, 40, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI and driving in the wrong lane at 100 Eagle Lane.
Jason M. Yaekel, 29, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 223 Sarah Street.
Lyle N. Bales, 24, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant.

Craig J. Greenhill, 52, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI on Route 3.
Monroe County Sheriff
Jan. 26
The Prairie du Rocher Fire Department was called to the scene of a pole barn that had burned to the ground in the area of 5700 South Fork Road around 7:30 a.m. No word on a cause of the fire.
The Columbia Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the area of 2720 Steppig Road around 12:30 p.m.

Jan. 25
Brian Spry, 33, of East Carondelet, was arrested for battery.
Waterloo Police
Jan. 7
Tyler Brauer, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for resisting a police officer at 418 W. Fourth Street.
Jan. 16
Robbie Bergman, 32, of Waterloo, was issued a city ordinance violation for public fighting after he allegedly punched another man in the head in the 300 block of Grand Avenue.
Jan. 20
Kathleen R. Jakobsen, 35, of Waterloo, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly leaving a youngster unattended in a vehicle parked outside Walmart for 30 minutes.
Jan. 23
James A. Middleton, 46, of Waterloo, was arrested for aggravated battery of a police officer at 508 Columbia Avenue. Court information alleges that Middleton “made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature in that he grabbed David Midkiff’s genitals with his right hand.”
Jan. 26
Frances Nieweglowski, 25, and Emma Krueger, 24, both of Red Bud, were issued city ordinance violations for public fighting at Huck’s around 4:40 a.m.
Jan. 27
Adam C. Kempf, 31, of Waterloo, was charged with two counts of retail theft following Dec. 29 and Jan. 11 incidents at Walmart and Rural King.
