Kennedy – McDaniel | Wedding

Mary Kay Kennedy & Jeff McDaniel

Mary Kay Kennedy of Waterloo and Jeff McDaniel of Festus, Mo., were married Sept. 28, 2013.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Rosalie Kennedy. She attended Gibault Catholic High School, and earned  her certificate in dental assisting from Bryan Institute and her associate degree in dental laboratory from St. Louis Community College at Meramec. She is currently employed as a dental assistant at Dr. Thomas Kemlage Family Dentistry in Fenton, Mo.
The groom is the son of Michael and Charlotte McDaniel. He graduated from Crystal City High School and completed a sheet metal worker’s apprenticeship in Crystal City, Mo. He is employed with Sheet Metal Workers Local 36.

Pam Gowens, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Miller, sister of the bride; Joan Tepen, sister of the bride; Sharon Hirstein, friend of the bride and Rachel Miller, nice of the bride. Macie McDaniel, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.

The best man was Daniel Zimmerman, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Doug McDaniel, brother of the groom; Dan Zander, friend of the groom; and Mike Gowens, friend of the bride. Carson McDaniel, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Guest book attendants were Erin Kennedy, niece of the bride, and McKenzie McDaniel, niece of the groom.

Guests were seated by Mark Tepen, nephew of the bride, and Christopher Kennedy, godson of the bride.

The reception followed at the Waterloo VFW.

The couple honeymooned in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
