Columbia Police

Nov. 6
Denny W. Marlow, 31, of Millstadt, was charged with two felony counts of attempted burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools for incidents that occurred Oct. 31. Court information alleges that Marlow entered construction sites in Brellinger Estates and Briar Lake Estates carrying bolt cutters with the intent to commit thefts by breaking into work trailers. Nov. 9
Ronald L. Hamlin, 57, of Waterloo, was arrested on an in-state warrant and for driving while revoked on I-255.

Three juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were issued curfew violations in the 400 block of South Main Street shortly after 3:15 a.m.

Monroe County Sheriff

Oct. 31
Cody S. Mudd of Waterloo was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for injuries sustained in a crash on Gall Road just west of Schewe Falls Lane around 9:30 p.m. Mudd’s westbound 1998 Chevy S10 left the roadway at a curve and struck a culvert. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Nov. 8
The possible theft of a TV from a shed at 900 West Road is under investigation.

Waterloo Police

Oct. 31
Christopher Lane, 42, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage following an 11:30 p.m. crash in the area of 740 N. Market Street. The vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch, taking out two mailboxes.

Nov. 6
A report of power tools and other items missing from construction trailers at Fuller Construction off Route 3 is under investigation.

Nov. 7
Darrell M. Holmes, 36, of St. Louis, was charged with the theft of a cell phone and also with three counts of unlawful violation of an order of protection.

Nov. 8
David Rednour, 33, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 south of HH Road.

Marc D. Dell, 51, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery in the 200 block of West Fourth Street.

Nov. 9
Eric Hern, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and no insurance on N. Market Street at Greiner Drive.

Michael S. Dale, 61, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI on Route 3 at Warren Drive.

Nov. 11
A two-car crash occurred on Route 3 at Illinois Avenue around 6:25 p.m. A 1994 Toyota Camry driven by Kimberly Skikas, 48, of Freeburg, collided with a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country driven by George Hern, 64, of Waterloo. Skikas was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville; Hern and a female passenger in his car were taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis. Skikas was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
