WJHS Cross Country | Team of the Week

The Waterloo Junior High School cross country teams cleaned up at the SIJHSAA state competition over the weekend. Their top medals earned them Republic-Times Team of the Week honors this week.

At the Oct. 19 state competition, the boys finished in first place out of 22 teams, and the girls in fourth place out of 23 teams.

The top boys runner at the meet was eighth grader Eli Dodd, who ran a time of 11:06, followed by sixth grader Eli Ward (11:09) and eighth grader Jackson Ivers (11:27).

The top girls runner at the state meet was seventh grader Jenna Schwartz with a time of 12:07, followed by seventh grader Allie Tuttle (12:09) and sixth grader Paige Kinzinger (12:54).

Good job Bulldogs!
