Father Jerry Wirth, 72, died Sept. 30, 2013.

Visitation was Oct. 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olney.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olney.

Per his request, he donated his body to Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Betty Ann Schlesinger

Betty Ann Schlesinger (nee Fries), 80, of North Port, Fla., died Oct. 9, 2013, in North Port, Fla.

Visitation and funeral services were Oct. 12, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.

Interment followed at St. John Cemetery, Maeystown.

Ralph H. “Red” Mueller

Ralph H. “Red” Mueller, 85, of Columbia, died Oct. 9. 2012, in Fults.

Visitation and funeral services were Oct. 11, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Pastor Bob Goddard officiating.

Interment followed at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights.

Norman H. “Boog-A-Loo” Melliere

Norman H. “Boog-A-Loo” Melliere, 74, of Prairie du Rocher, died Oct. 11, 2013, in Red Bud.

Visitation is Oct. 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Oct. 19, at the church, Msgr. Daniel Jurek officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Dennis M. Doyle

Dennis M. Doyle, 65, of Waterloo, died Oct. 13, 2013, in St. Louis.

He had been an insurance broker and was a Vietnam War veteran and member of the Paralyzed Veteran’s Association.

Visitation is Oct. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia.

Funeral services will be Oct. 18, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
