A two-vehicle crash occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Admiral Parkway (Route 3) and Sand Bank Road in Columbia. Police said an R.P. Lumber  wood-hauling truck driven by Trevor Ridge of Moro was traveling northbound on Route 3 and turned left toward Sand Bank Road in front of a Dodge Neon driven by Janice Elbrecht, 50, of Columbia, which was heading southbound on Route 3. Elbrecht was transported to Missouri Baptist Hospital for treatment of injuries. Ridge was cited for failure to yield. Columbia police, fire and EMS responded to the crash. (Corey Saathoff photo)
