The Valmeyer Junior High School baseball team defeated Bluford, 7-1, Wednesday in their state semifinal game played in Coulterville. They will play for first place Friday at 3 p.m. In other junior high action, the Waterloo Junior High School baseball team won Saturday at their state tournament for coach Mark Vogel’s 400th victory with the team.
