The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Gibault Catholic High School soccer player Maggie Altes. The freshman goalkeeper is a key reason the Hawks have jumped out to a 10-3 start this season. Altes is 9-3 with six shutouts in net and a 1.45 goals against average.  She has an .893 save percentage and her 133 total saves in 12 matches ranks second for the entire St. Louis area.
