Gibault

The Hawks improved to 10-5 on the season with a two-game win against Metro East Lutheran Sept. 19. Ashley Grohmann led the way for Gibault with 28 assists and 4 aces on the night. Gibault’s next game is Sept. 25 at Lebanon.

Columbia

Columbia bounced back from a Sept. 17 loss to Breese Central to post a win over Red Bud. The Eagles went into Tuesday night’s game against Freeburg with a record of 13-2.

Valmeyer

Valmeyer defeated Marissa Sept. 17 to improve their season record to 9-5 going into the New Berlin Tournament last weekend, where they went 2-0. They host New Athens Thursday.

Waterloo

After starting the season 0-5, Waterloo has won five of its last six matches, including wins last Tuesday at Jerseyville and Thursday at home against Civic Memorial. The Bulldogs hosted Mascoutah on Tuesday night and Highland Thursday.

Dupo

Dupo lost to Steeleville last Tuesday and are now 3-7 on the season. They traveled to New Athens Tuesday and host St. Louis Christian Thursday.
