Jim and Angie Marquardt of Waterloo announce the birth of their son, Caden James Marquardt.

He was born July 6, 2013, at 12:28 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Louis.

He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

He was welcomed to the family by sister Madison, 10.

His paternal grandparents are Joe and Sharon Marquardt.

Maternal grandparents are George and Nancy Schmidt.

Great-grandmothers are Mary Crook and Mary Ann Schmidt.
