Earthquake in Monroe County

According to the United States Geological Survey, an earthquake registering 2.3 on the Richter Scale occurred just east of Harrisonville near the intersection of B and Harris roads on Jan. 8 at 5:37 p.m. The quake had a shallow depth of 5.7 miles and was reportedly felt by some people near the epicenter.
