Chicken coop fire near Valmeyer

The Valmeyer Fire Department responded shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday to a chicken coop on fire next to a tree on a property in the 2400 block of Falcon Place north of Valmeyer.

The fire was reported to have been contained by about 1:40 p.m.
