Columbia Police

Sept. 14

Ethan M. Oliver 26, of New Athens, was arrested on an in-state warrant and for unlawful possession of cannabis, no insurance, driving with license suspended, and revoked registration on Route 3 at Mark Drive. 

Sept. 19

Emergency personnel responded shortly before 7:30 p.m. to a two-vehicle T-bone crash involving injuries on Route 3 at South Main Street. Two people were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County for treatment of minor injuries. The vehicles involved were a 2023 Jeep utility driven by Brooke Ramage, 47, of Columbia, and a white 2014 Chevrolet sedan driven by Hannibal Powers, 25, of Millstadt.

Conservation Police

Sept. 17

Sean M. McNamara, 23, of St. Louis, was charged with unlawful transportation of a weapon for allegedly having an uncased firearm in his possession while in a boat on the Mississippi River near Fountain.

MEGSI

Sept. 22

Linda A.R. Dover, 39, of Columbia, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Millstadt Police

Sept. 16

At 10:20 p.m., Gavin M. Labukas, 21, of Belleville, was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis (driver), operation of an uninsured vehicle and operation of vehicle when registration suspended for non-insurance in the 6800 block of Route 163.

Sept. 17 

Shawn T. Edwards, 37, of High Ridge, Mo., was arrested on a St. Clair County traffic warrant shortly after 1:05 a.m. in the 5900 block of Saxtown Road.

Monroe County Sheriff

Sept. 16

Dennis W. Bense Jr., 21, of Fults, was arrested shortly before 11 a.m. for DUI in the 6100 block of Beck Road.

Sept. 21

Jeffrey A. Finch, 55, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Route 3 at LL Road north of Red Bud. Finch was also charged with speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Sept. 24

Emergency personnel responded shortly after 3 p.m. to a rollover crash in the 5700 block of Beck Road. A car veered off the roadway and rolled multiple times in a field, but fortunately only minor injuries were sustained per fire officials on scene. Assisting deputies on scene were Monroe County EMS and the Hecker Fire Department. 

Waterloo Police

Sept. 16 

Jeremiah R. Jenson, 51, of St. Louis, was charged with domestic battery (bodily harm) for allegedly throwing a wine glass that struck a female victim and cut her foot. Jenson was also charged with criminal damage to property for allegedly damaging a door on the property where the incident occurred.

Sept. 21

Neal A. Vogt, 34, of Waterloo, was arrested for obstructing identification and resisting an officer at Amoco, 620 S. Market Street.

Sept. 22

Bradley S. Liefer, 40, of Columbia, was arrested at about 9 p.m. for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device on Route 3 at GG Road. 

Sept. 23

Jaydin D. Gulley, 20, of Columbia, was cited at about 2 a.m. for unlawful possession of alcohol and speeding on Route 3 at Illinois Avenue.
