Columbia Police

Aug. 26

Davon S. Agnew, 35, of Cahokia, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing lottery tickets, beef jerky, candy and chips from Midwest Petroleum, 1553 N. Main Street, between Aug. 1 and Aug. 17.

MEGSI

Aug. 27

Tiffany M. Skinner, 33, of Dupo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone) on the dates of May 8-9.

Monroe County Sheriff

Aug. 19

Dontae M. Carter, 22, of Washington Park, was charged with obstructing identification and illegal possession of cannabis (passenger) following a traffic stop on I-255 in Columbia.

Aug. 23

Kyle M. Loughner, 19, of Red Bud, and Caden L. Ellner, 19, of Prairie du Rocher, were cited for unlawful consumption of liquor by a minor on Kaskaskia Road at MM Road in Fults.

Joshua T. Cornett, 30, of Cahokia Heights, was arrested for a St. Clair County warrant on I-255.

Aug. 25

Ivan Sanchez Hernandez, 31, of Collinsville, was arrested for DUI at 2:50 a.m. on Route 3 at I-255 in Columbia.

Aug. 27

Jason W. Pulse, 42, of Columbia, was charged with endangering the life or health of a child for allegedly instructing one child to strike another child with their foot and baseball bat between the dates of May 1 and July 24.

Waterloo Police

Aug. 21

Emergency personnel responded about 7 a.m. to a two-vehicle crash on South Market Street near the entrance to Waterloo High School. Police said none of those involved in the crash required medical transport.

Aug. 22

Emergency personnel responded about 9 a.m. to a three-vehicle crash on North Market Street at Bradford Lane. A 2018 Honda Accord driven by Christine D. Koch, 66, of Valmeyer, was exiting the Schnucks parking lot and attempting to cross Market Street east to Bradford Lane, but failed to yield to a 2010 Honda Pilot driven by Julie L. Kroenig, 48, of Smithton, which was traveling north on Market Street. After the Pilot struck the passenger side of the Accord, the Accord spun and collided with a Jeep Wrangler driven by Lillian E. Shaw, 19, of Waterloo, which was stopped on Bradford Lane. Koch was transported by Monroe County EMS ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County for treatment of minor injuries.
