A large crowd filled the stands at the Monroe County Fairgrounds for the Figure 8 Race on Wednesday night. A beautiful mild summer night brought out the likes of local drivers and even 92.3 FM WIL radio’s Derrick Keith, who encouraged the crowd to participate in his “Dereoke karaoke” contest.
