The Maeystown Fire Department assisted Monroe County EMS and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in responding at 11 p.m. Sunday to a single-car crash in the area of Maeystown Road at Baum Road near Maeystown Civic Association Park.

The vehicle came to rest partially submerged in a creek near the park, per initial reports.

The male driver of the vehicle was out walking around with minor injuries following the crash.
