Robert S. Haudrich | Obituary

Robert Haudrich was born Feb. 21, 1966. On Sunday, June 30, 2024, at age 58, he died in St. Louis. He said he was looking forward to coming home to the Lord.

Robert was a kind and thoughtful person, facing his long illness with grace and bravery. He never failed to thank EVERY person who was involved in any way in caring for him throughout.

Robert worked most of his adult life for Gene Del printing in St Louis. Among other jobs, he delivered copy to many businesses, restaurants, schools, the Cardinals (He was a big Cardinals fan), The Magic House etc. etc. He LOVED his job there, and was well known to a lot of companies and organizations in St. Louis.

His lifelong hobby was riding his Harley. He also was an avid fan of live rock n’ roll music, becoming acquainted with musicians in quite a few bands. He loved riding with Bonnie in his convertible.

He left behind his life long partner Bonnie Ries; mother Jane Lange; father Clyde (Judith) Haudrich; sister Kate Spielman; aunts Carol Bievenue and Charlotte Gutjahr; nieces Taylor O’Connor and Bryce O’Connor; nephew Ethan Hendricks; and many cousins and many good friends, some of whom rode motorcycles with Rob. 

Visitation was July 3 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service followed at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Friz officiating.
