Fire call near Prairie du Rocher

The Prairie du Rocher Fire Department responded shortly before noon Monday to the report of power lines down and a wooded area on fire in the area of 7998 Carr Road just north of Prairie du Rocher.

Some residents in that area reported a power outage into the early afternoon hours.

Ameren was notified of the situation.
