The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday fielded multiple burglary to motor vehicle reports in the area of D Road and Country Lane near Columbia.

Police are asking those who live in that area who may have observed suspicious vehicles or activity, between 2-5 a.m. Tuesday, or those with video surveillance to call 618-939- 8651 or email nsunderman@monroecountyil.gov.
