The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic School eighth grade girls volleyball squad. The Falcons won the small school division of the conference tournament over the weekend, defeating two teams they previously lost to twice each. SPPCS improved its season record to 9-15. The win in the conference final was the final home game for longtime Falcons coach Carrie Phelps, who has coached the eighth grade volleyball squad since 2009.
