Mark L. Bertram Sr., 74, of Ocala, Fla., died Oct. 21, 2023, in Ocala. He was born Aug. 30, 1949, in St. Louis.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church – Valmeyer, a U.S. Navy Veteran, member of the Valmeyer American Legion and retired from MAR in Valmeyer.

He is survived by his wife Teri Bertram (nee Belgeri); children Mark L. Bertram Jr. and Faith Ann Bertram; grandchildren Elizabeth, Sarah, Anthony, Emily and Grace; great grandchildren Makaio and Lorelei; brother Greg (Bev) Bertram; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his first wife Beth Ann “Dee Dee” Bertram (nee Ewing), son John J. Bertram and parents Earle J. and Fern T. (nee Sensel) Bertram.

Visitation: is 4-8 p.m. Oct. 27 and 8-9:15 a.m. Oct. 28 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 Oct. 28 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Valmeyer with Father Linus Umoren C.M. officiating.

Interment will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
