UTV crash near Ames

Emergency personnel responded about 3:30 a.m. Sunday to the report of a side-by-side UTV that had rolled into a ditch and trapped its male driver underneath.

The incident occurred in the 7000 block of Faust Road near Horse Creek just north of Ames.

The driver of the UTV refused medical transport at the scene.
